Makatob IT Securities is celebrating a significant milestone following the recognition of MAKATOB Academy as the Ghana Best Performing Cisco Networking Academy. The award was delivered to Mawuko Kudzo Kpatah, Founder of Makatob IT Securities Celebrates Ghana Best Performing Cisco Networking Academy AwardMakatob IT Securities and convener of MAKATOB Academy, during the English West and Central Africa Instructor Safari Conference held in Abuja, Nigeria, on October 21–22, 2026.
The recognition marks an important achievement for MAKATOB Academy, which was established two years ago under the leadership of Makatob IT Securities. The company, now in its third year of operation, remains committed to advancing cybersecurity education and developing digital skills among learners worldwide.
In just two years, MAKATOB Academy has trained more than 5,000 learners across the globe in cybersecurity and ethical hacking, contributing to efforts to equip individuals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate the evolving digital landscape.
The award recognizes the academy’s performance, commitment to excellence, and contribution to expanding access to technology education. It also reinforces Makatob IT Securities’ mission to empower the next generation of technology professionals through quality training and skills development.
As the organization celebrates this achievement, it has expressed special appreciation to its Patron and Mentor, Dr. Daniel Ekpah, for his relentless efforts, guidance, and unwavering support from the beginning.
